We beging with this introductory module, there are then nine modules covering knowledge, practice and values in recovery and peer support. These nine modules are in two blocks; one of four modules and one of five modules with a review and evaluation at the end of each block.
The first section focuses on knowledge and understanding of recovery and peer support and the second focuses on knowledge and skills required in the peer support role.
Each of the modules has been designed to last three to four hours with a total course time of around 48 hours. However, we recognise that the amount of time required to cover the content will depend on various factors such as your own time restraints and personal committments.
You can work through the modules as you wish, there is no set timeframe to complete the course though we recommend completing the course within six months.
