Share Your Experience

Would you like to share your experiences of BPD?

By talking about what you’ve been going through, you can help us tell powerful stories that raise awareness of the needs of people affected by BPD and helps ensure they remain a priority issue in healthcare.

Whether you are living with BPD, caring for someone or if a loved one has been diagnosed with BPD, we’d love to hear from you. You could share how you were diagnosed, your symptoms or treatments, your experiences in the healthcare system, or anything else you would like to share with us.

By sharing your experiences, stories like yours can get people talking, change attitudes, challenge stigma and help as many people as possible – sharing stories can be a very powerful way of encouraging others to ask for help.

You can share your story in complete anonymity, we will only ever share what you are comfortable with, and will exclude any personally identifying details such as names or locations.

From time to time we may use stories, or parts of stories:

  • on this website
  • in fundraising
  • in awareness campaigns
  • on social media
  • in press interviews

We would never consider using any part of your story without asking you first.

Sharing your story can be a really positive experience, and it can be an opportunity to let someone else know they are not alone in their suffering.

If you want to share your story, please fill in the below form giving as much information as you are able – and only sharing that which you feel comfortable with. Please note that you must be over 18 to share your story with us.

If you are currently in treatment for your BPD and feel that sharing your story may be distressing or triggering, it may be more beneficial for you to share your story when you are feeling better.
