Introduction to DBT

About Course
This comprehensive course has been designed to equip you with basic DBT skills and knowledge that you can use to support your ongoing treatment, use while you wait for treatment or for use in your recovery journey. This is an online course, taken at your own pace, and will explain what DBT is, how it can be used with borderline personality disorder patients, and some of the disorders and traumas it can treat.
We also cover the four skill modules of DBT – mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance.
The course contains a selection of videos, handouts and worksheets.
