South East Counselling (Edinburgh)

This counselling service offers telephone and video counselling (face to face counselling is currently suspended due to COVID-19). Edinburgh Peer Connecting Service

The Listening Space

The Listening Space is a drop-in service for people in Edinburgh who are 18 years and over. It usually takes place in the main hall of Gilmerton Community Centre. For now, the service has moved online, using the platform Zoom. We are here to give you a space to be listened to, and to connect with others who will do their best to understand you. Wellbeing Hangouts

If you are between 18 and 25, Wellbeing Hangouts sessions are a place to talk about all things mental health related; social anxiety, depression, study/work-related issues, issues related to gender and sexuality, social-media use, and isolation. Breathing Space

Breathing Space is a free, confidential phone and web based service for people in Scotland experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety. They are here in times of difficulty to provide a safe and supportive space by listening, offering advice and information. “It is our belief and hope that by  empowering people they will have the resources to recover.” Visit their website for information on self help and many links to subjects of interest.
