Nominations are now open for our 2024 Awards, which will be awarded at our Borderline Support UK Conference 2024. These awards celebrate outstanding and inspirational stories and initiatives from across the UK. We are passionate about borderline personality disorder and mental health, and these awards are dedicated to all those who have had a positive impact in supporting those who struggle with their mental health. Every nominee for an award truly deserves the recognition for the tremendous efforts they have invested into helping others and creating meaningful change. Nominations can come from professionals, family members, friends, colleagues and individuals.

Judged by a panel made up of volunteers, people with lived experience and clinicians, the awards cover the following categories:
Outstanding Contribution to the Mental Health of Employees
This category is to celebrate an individual, team or organisation that have contributed significantly to the mental health of their employees, including those individuals or organisations who have supported staff affected by BPD.
Most Inspirational Story
Celebrating service users who have overcome significant challenges to tackle their BPD, mental health and wellbeing. Individuals can be nominated by professionals, family or friends.
Outstanding Healthcare Professional
This category is for the public to nominate a mental health professional who they feel has made a significant impact on their recovery and wellbeing.
Inspirational Storyteller
Awarded to an individual who has shared their story of life with borderline personality disorder, and created positive impact among others.
Inspirational Individual Award
This category is to nominate the family member, friend, boss or colleague who offered help and support and who made a really significant difference to you.
Founders Award
Awarded by the board at Borderline Support UK CIC to recognise excellence that may not be captured in the standard categories.
