NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Talking Therapies

NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Talking Therapies, formerly known as CPFT Psychological Wellbeing Service, offers accessible psychological therapies for individuals aged 17 and over experiencing common mental health issues such as depression and anxiety disorders. Sessions range from 35 minutes to 1 hour, with treatment options including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and various therapy modalities. The service also supports individuals with long-term physical health conditions associated with depression and anxiety. Referrals can be made through self-referral forms, with tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and preferences. However, the service does not work with individuals with complex difficulties such as personality disorders, active risk of significant self-harm or suicide, or drug/alcohol problems as primary issues.
