Willow Ward is an acute assessment ward with 18 beds, catering to adults aged 65 and over experiencing mental health issues such as depression, acute anxiety, psychosis, or bipolar disorder requiring hospital treatment. The multidisciplinary team offers care and treatment, including therapeutic activities, provided by nurses, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech and language therapists. Patients are encouraged to participate in their care plan discussions and maintain privacy and dignity throughout their stay. Referrals are received from the Older People's Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team.
