Surrey Independent Living Charity (SILC) offers a range of services to help you live independently. They can help you understand how Direct Payments and Personal Health Budgets work. They can also help you arrange the support you need if you fund your own care, manage your finances with an Assisted Finance Account or a Supported Managed Account, recruit and employ Personal Assistants (PAs) to provide the support you need. They also offer training for employers and PAs. Finally, they can help you arrange a break from your caring role and help you make a complaint about a NHS service.
