Borderline Personality Disorder Awareness
This course offers knowledge on Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), also referred to as Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) or Emotional Regulation Disorder. It aims to provide a thorough understanding of this complex condition, which is frequently misrepresented, misdiagnosed, and misunderstood.
Through studying this course, you will gain an understanding and awareness of what borderline personality disorder is, how it is diagnosed, what the symptoms are, and how it is treated.
If you are taking this course as a professional, friend, colleague or family member, this course explains more about BPD and how you can support someone living with the condition – and how to look after yourself as you do.
If you are taking the course because you have BPD, this course provides information on the condition and also useful tips for you, offering advice on healthy coping strategies that can be used for different emotions, and how to understand yourself, your triggers, behaviours and how to manage your symptoms.
Throughout this course we will refer to the condition as either BPD or borderline personality disorder, though you may prefer to use other terms for yourself.
